On October 11-12, in Troitsk (New Moscow) the OptiSpark Company (the TEN Optics brand which is a part of the TechnoSpark venture-building company, one of the shareholders of which is the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs of the RUSNANO Group) together with the Swiss company Bühler AG (the LEYBOLD OPTICS brand) held the international technology seminar “Contemporary Approaches to Production of High-Precision Optic Items, Revolutionary Methods of Computing and Application of Complex Surfaces”.

The OptiSpark Company demonstrated their ultramodern contract manufacturing of surfaces for high-precision optic items of advanced complexity to the participants of the seminar. To showcase the technical capacity of the process in real time, the Director General of OptiSpark, Vladimir Ponomarev, headed the demonstration in which a NOTCH light filter was coated in the layer of extremely high complexity. The whole duration of the process lasted for 11 hours.

The Bühler company introduced a new generation of their equipment for surface treatment and application of multilayer coatings. A German company’s R&D manager Detlef Arhilger gave a special detailed design analysis of the surface that was coated at the contract manufacturing line of OptiSpark.

Among the participants of the two-day seminar were 70 representatives of the leading optic industry enterprises from Russia and Belarus. They all noticed a marked growth of interest in complex coatings from the industry. The results of the performed coating process were given to the seminar participants in the form of demonstration samples.

The Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs was established in 2010 in accordance with Federal Law No. 2110-FZ “On Reorganization of the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies”. The purpose of the Fund is to develop innovative infrastructure in the sphere of nanotechnologies, including the implementation of educational and infrastructure programs that have already been commenced by RUSNANO.
