TechnoSpark Nano-Center arranged a seminar on compliance with the international standard for production of medical itemsLast week, the TechnoSpark venture-building company held a seminar on application of the international standard ISO 13485 which establishes requirements for organizations producing medical items. The nanocenter was visited by employees of the Methods of Quality Management magazine.

The event was attended by Alexander Narchuk of TEN MedPrint (contract production of non-customized and customized endoprotheses and medical implants based on additive technologies), Ekaterina Khodunova, Director General of TEN Medica which provides services for contract localization of medical facilities in Russia, as well as Boris Khodunov, Head of the Fabric of Industrial Design company specializing in rapid industrial design for medical startups.

Representatives of contract companies at TechnoSpark demonstrated their systems and production technologies. During the seminar, participants talked about the potential of the contract companies’ business models. Working with such organizations allows technology companies to bring new products to the market more quickly, respond to market changes and focus on their core competencies.

At the end of the event, Alexander Narchuk was interviewed on the TENMedPrint’s quality management system which meets requirements of the international standard ISO 13485. The interview will be published in the Methods of Quality Management magazine and the Quality Management in Healthcare magazine.
