TEN+1 football spray broadcast on Match TV

TEN+1 vanishing foam for football referees (a joint development of the TechnoSpark startup and the Dubna nanotechnology center) was presented on a program dedicated to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia on the Russian public sports channel Match TV.

The foam is required to indicate the minimum distance at which the defending “wall” of footballers may position themselves from the ball when a free kick is being taken. This type of spray was used for the first time at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The Russian TEN+1 vanishing foam was first tested in 2016, following which it has been modified and modernized. In 2017, the startup presented a line of different foam compositions designed for lower and higher air temperatures, as well as for natural and artificial football fields.

A Match TV channel presenter talks on air about new innovations for referees and compares the vanishing foam to ordinary shaving foam. The test results are shown in fast forward. TEN+1 vanishing foam does its job perfectly and disappears in the standard time allocated for this function.
