From February 27 to March 2, the 13th International Exhibition for Photonics Laser, Optic and Optoelectronic Equipment. World of Lasers and Optics 2018″ was held in the Expocenter Central Exhibition Complex. Having brought together more than 180 participants from 14 countries and about 8,000 visitors, this exhibition became the most attended event of the Russian photonics industry. Exhibition guests had a unique opportunity of observing and studying original facilities, fiber-optic equipment, laser equipment, optoelectronics, nanophotonics. Contract services were presented by such companies as OptiSpark and LaserSpark, both from the TechnoSpark Group. These companies noted exhibition visitors’ high interest in their technologies.
During the 3-day exhibition, more than 70 individuals and representatives of technological companies left their applications at the OptiSpark stand. According to Vladimir Ponomarev, the OptiSpark Director General, at the end of the exhibition it became clear that at the present moment there are practically no analogues to the company’s complex optical coatings in Russia. Complex light filters used in the military-industrial complex, data transmission systems (optical channels) and mirrors for powerful lasers turned out to be in high demand.
At the LaserSpark stand, visitors became familiar with a range of services provided by the company: R&D, laser microprocessing, consulting, customization. Also, exhibition guests manifested an outstanding interest in micromachining technologies.
On March 1, as a part of the exhibition programme, they held a Russian-Chinese seminar titled The Experience and Prospects for the Development of the Russian-Chinese Cooperation in Photonics and Related Applications that was attended by Tamila Zlachevskaya, the LaserSpark Director General, and where she made a report.
The TechnoSpark companies that took part in the exhibition could show a high technological level of their contract services and agree on interactions with a number of prospective customers.
