The shields were printed at the TechnoSpark production facilities and its IMPRINTA startup last weekend. They help to reduce the transmission of infections between people.

Hospital of the Russian Academy of Sciences with a capacity of 300 beds was re-qualified for the treatment of the coronavirus infected patients at the beginning of April 2020.

The face shields immediately designed by the TechnoSpark engineers are made for the individual protection of the eyes, respiratory tract and face from the direct exposure to small particles and viruses. They are efficient when combined with other kinds of protection, such as protective overalls, masks, gloves, and antiseptics.

They ensure efficient protection of doctors and representatives of other contact professions, such as shop assistants and front-office operators working with customers, couriers, or clerks of the utility service provider companies.

Light and easy-to-use, the face shields are made of durable plastic, suitable for disinfection and repeated use. The face shield can be easily adjusted for any size of the head. The soft lining in the forehead area and comfortable elastic bands do not cause discomfort even when worn for a long time.

Under the campaign, the doctors are provided with the face shields for free. For customers from other spheres of activity interested in the safety of their employees, the face shields are available both in retail and wholesale on the website of the company.
