As a partner of the 6th AtomSkills Professional Excellence Championship, IMPRINTA, a 3D technology developer, selected the TEN Fab contract manufacturer (part of the TechnoSpark Group of Companies) to produce a number of its 3D printers on a turnkey basis. Twelve new-generation Hercules G2 printers have been comprised in the technical equipment at the venue, where young professionals confirmed the high level of their competencies in 37 professional fields. The championship was held by Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation in Yekaterinburg on August, 11 to 16.
AtomSkills is the largest Russian industry championship based on the WorldSkills methodology. The movement is aimed at increasing the professional excellence prestige and developing the vocational education. This year, the competition was attended by more than a thousand participants, including current employees of sixteen Rosatom divisions, college and university students, and representatives of other industrial companies who had successfully passed the qualifying stages before. Young professionals compete for the title of the best in the field of production, technology and management, using, among other things, twelve Hercules G2 3D printers provided by IMPRINTA to perform complex tasks.
The winners will get a chance to join the industry team to participate in the annual National WorldSkills Hi-Tech Championship, the DigitalSkills Industry Championship, and the World Construction Championship. The difficulty of AtomSkills tasks is intentionally set above the one of the WorldSkills-Hi-Tech national championship, which gives candidates a higher chance of winning future competitions.
