Znanie Russian community has released a film on how a new global market for thin-film plastic electronics is being formed in the country. To show the infrastructure and technologies, the creators visited the Russian Center for Flexible Electronics at the TechnoSpark technology campus located in the Troitsk science city.
Russian Center for Flexible Electronics (TEN flecs international brand) is the only company in Russia that implemented advanced flexible electronics technology into industrial production. The plant prototypes and manufactures the key components for the displays and sensors based on the organic and metal oxide technology of the thin-film flexible electronics. Russian Center for Flexible Electronics is a part of the TechnoSpark Group of Companies that belongs to the investment network of the Fund for Infrastructure and Education Programs of the RUSNANO Group. The production was launched in March 2020 at the plant located in New Moscow (town of Troitsk).
In the film:
– how the Russian Center for Flexible Electronics is forming a new global market for thin-film plastic electronics;
– how the RCFE opens access to breakthrough technology for domestic companies by developing infrastructure for the production of flexible electronics;
– how the RCFE in clean rooms using advanced equipment produces microelectronic components based on the thin-film plastic electronics.
