The crew of the Youtube channel called Tekhnikum has visited TechnoSpark. The channel tells about technological innovations. In the heart of New Moscow, popularizers of science got acquainted with two main technologies for synthesizing artificial diamonds, which are as good as natural gemstones in their physical and chemical characteristics.
TechnoSpark has established two companies involved in the production of artificial diamonds.
CVD Spark develops and supplies technologies for artificial diamond growing and postprocessing. Customers get access to a cloud of methods for producing diamonds for microelectronics, optics, laser systems, precision tools and accessories. A crystal is formed out of a hot reaction gas mixture by condensing it on a special substrate, or, as experts say, on a controlled surface.
The Diamond Lab serially produces artificial monocrystalline diamonds for jewelry, heat sinks and diamond tools using HPHT (High Pressure, High Temperature) technology. In this case, a press, electric current and heating up to 1,500 degrees Celsius are used.
