Tubot (TechnoSpark) Is The Gold Sponsor of the Future Skills Team Challenge 2021 Student Championship

The Tubot startup (part of the TechnoSpark Group of Companies with the participation of SIGMA.Novosibirsk of the investment network of the Fund for Infrastructural and Educational Programs of the RUSNANO Group) has become the sponsor of the Future Skills Team Challenge 2021 student championship, which will be held from December 5 to 8 as part of the final of the fifth Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia) National Interuniversity Championship.

The Future Skills Team Challenge 2021 championship is held by the Agency for Professional Skills Development (Worldskills Russia) autonomous noncommercial organization and will take place in Moscow at the site of the MEPhI National Research Nuclear University. About 80 students will take part in the competition consisting of 6 team challenges:

  • Digital Solutions for Business;
  • Digital Manufacturing;
  • Virtual and Augmented Reality;
  • Development of Electronic Devices;
  • Engineering Thinking. Karakuri;
  • Technological products.

As a gold sponsor, Tubot will demonstrate its in-pipe robot to the participants on the first day of the championship, will act as a customer in a competition for the development of an application with virtual reality technology, and will reward the winners with gifts at the end of the competition.

Apart from Tubot, sponsors of the Future Skills Team Challenge 2021 include well-known technology and IT companies, such as Mitutoyo, FANUC, DMG MORI, 1C and Picaso 3D.

The Future Skills Team Challenge aims to develop key skills for the next decade, including entrepreneurial, technological, communication, green skills, and skills related to universal welfare. They have been determined based on the results of the Skills of the Future for the 2020s: a New Hope study, conducted by WorldSkills Russia and Global Education Futures in 2020 with the participation of 800 experts from 49 countries.

Tubot is the exclusive representative of Inspector Systems, a German robotics company, in Russia and China. Tubot is currently developing robots for diagnosing complex pipe sections in various industries, including oil and gas, nuclear and chemical industries, and provides pipe cleaning services, performs telemetry and real-time filming.
